FAQ - Frequently asked questions.

1) I don't have a PayPal account. How do I buy a software licence?

You don't need to open a PayPal account to use their service. PayPal allow you to make a secure payment using a debit or credit card in a wide variety of different currencies.


2) Can I buy a software licence by cash or cheque (check US) instead of PayPal?

Yes. Cheques are accepted in Pounds Sterling, Euros or US dollars.
Avisoft charges an extra £1 over the quoted licence price for payment by cheque in pounds sterling or 1 Euro extra for cheques in Euros.

Cheques (checks) in US dollars are acceptable but include a surcharge of $20 to cover the very high fees charged by the banks to process the check and convert the currency.

Payment by cash in either Pounds Sterling or Euros is acceptable but any money sent via the postal system is sent entirely at your own risk.

3) I have paid for a software licence but the registration email has not arrived.

Licences are normally sent by email within 24 hours after you have placed a (PayPal) order. If it hasn't arrived in your inbox check your other folders: spam, trash etc.

A number of people with Gmail and AOL accounts have reported problems recently about missing registration emails.

If you cannot find your registration email after 48 hours contact Avisoft using the contact form; but give a different email address if possible; i.e. from a different email service provider. It is frustrating for everyone concerned if I reply to your message and it is just deleted again or treated as spam by your email provider!
