History

I have used various organizers over the years, some expensive, some free and also written various stand-alone programs for contact management, to-do lists, personal data vaults etc. Avisoft Organizer is a fresh approach, written specifically for Windows Vista (but will also run on XP - see system requirements) incorporating the best and most useful features into one easy to use freeware package. It is written using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and is fully up to date with the latest development technologies. This means Avisoft Organizer will be compatible with Windows 7 when it is released; so there are no upgrade worries. The software and your data have a life after Vista!

Why is Avisoft Organizer Freeware?

System Requirements:

Avisoft Organizer is designed for Windows Vista but it can also be installed and run on Windows XP provided it has Microsoft Network Framework 3.5 installed. (Vista comes with the Microsoft Network Framework 3.5 pre-installed. XP users can download it free of charge from the Microsoft website.)

Avisoft Organizer takes very little disk space, typically around 20 Mb. Minimum screen size 800 x 600 pixels.

Avisoft Organizer does not contain any trojans, add-ware, spy-ware, viruses or any other malware. No other software is bundled with it. All the features are fully functional and it does not have a built in expiry date. It can be used free of charge for personal use, business use and within organizations.
